Curriculum Vitae
Katharina Müller studied political science and German language and literature at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (B.A.). During her bachelor's studies, she worked for almost two years in the office of a Member of the Deutscher Bundestag.
She then continued her studies in political science, focusing on parliamentary affairs, civil society and public law, first at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, then at the Institut d'Études Politiques in Rennes (France) and at Heidelberg University. In her master's thesis, Katharina Müller examined the diffusion of greenhouse gas reduction targets within Canada's multilevel system, focusing on the interactions between the federal and provincial levels.
Since February 2025, Katharina Müller has been a research associate at the Chair of Prof. Dr. Jale Tosun. In this role, she works on the EU Horizon project RECODE MLG ("Re-Thinking Co-Creation of Digital and Environmental Policy in Systems of Multilevel Governance"), which examines governance approaches for the digital and green transformation in Europe.
